A deposit, plus one fee
Your first payment is your deposit (the same size as every instalment that follows) plus the Travel Lock fee: £5.99 + 10% of the price. We tell you both, and the full schedule, before you commit to anything.

Added to your deposit, not spread across the schedule. It covers the real cost of holding a paid booking and managing a dated payment plan, and, like the deposit, it isn’t refunded once your booking is made.

There’s no price to protect against, because there’s nothing left to move: N8Go pays the real supplier the moment your deposit clears, at today’s price, in full. The only thing left is paying off your own balance, on the dates you already agreed to.

Which trips qualify
3 instalments, or 4 for bigger trips
A trip under £400.00 splits into 3 instalments; £400.00 and over splits into 4, giving a bigger price more room to spread out. Either way, the deposit and fee are due today, the remaining instalments land on dates fixed in advance, and every instalment finishes with a buffer before you travel, never right up against departure.
Not every fare or rate can be locked. Since N8Go pays the real supplier from your deposit alone, the booking needs real refund or change cover behind it: a flight with genuine cancellation protection, or a hotel rate that’s genuinely refundable. A basic, fully non-refundable fare doesn’t qualify, because if something goes wrong, there would be no way to recover what’s already been paid to the supplier.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the Travel Lock deposit refundable?
- No. Your deposit and the Travel Lock fee (£5.99 + 10% of the price) are both non-refundable once paid, because N8Go pays the real supplier immediately and holds your booking from that moment.
- What happens if I miss an instalment?
- A missed payment gets one automatic retry after a short grace period. If that also fails, your plan is reviewed by our team, who may give you more time or cancel it. A cancelled plan forfeits everything paid so far.
- Does Travel Lock protect me if the price goes up later?
- No, and it does not need to: N8Go pays the real airline or hotel in full the moment your deposit clears, so the price is already fixed and paid. There is nothing left to protect against.
- Who holds my booking while I pay it off?
- N8Go books and holds it. You cannot travel, check in, or otherwise use the booking until your final instalment has cleared and it is released to you.
- Can I use Travel Lock on any flight or hotel rate?
- Only ones with real refund cover behind them: a flight with genuine cancellation or Cancel For Any Reason protection, or a fully refundable hotel rate. A basic non-refundable fare does not qualify.

Priced, locked and booked separately
We present a flight and a stay together so you can see the whole trip, and you can lock the price on either or both. They are never sold as a package. Each is booked directly with its supplier, under that supplier’s own terms, with its own price, its own lock and its own confirmation. N8Go Travel acts as your agent and does not sell package holidays.
