Booking terms

Last updated 24 July 2026

These terms cover how bookings are made through N8Go Travel, what our role is, and how price locks and travel credit work.

1. Our role: agent, not organiser

N8Go Travel Ltd (“N8Go”, “we”) acts as a booking agent. When you book a flight, your contract for that flight is with the airline. When you book accommodation, your contract for that stay is with the accommodation provider. We make those bookings on your behalf and are not the supplier of the travel services themselves.

We do not sell packages or linked travel arrangements. Flights and accommodation presented together in an itinerary on our site are separate arrangements, priced separately, paid for separately and confirmed separately. Any combined figure shown across an itinerary is indicative only and is never charged as a single amount.

Each supplier’s own booking conditions apply to their part of your trip. We make those conditions available to you before you pay, and they are summarised on your confirmation.

2. Making a booking

Prices shown are those quoted by the supplier at the moment you search and can change until a booking is confirmed. We re-check the price with the supplier immediately before taking payment. If the supplier’s price has changed materially, we will tell you and ask you to confirm before proceeding.

A booking is confirmed only when the supplier issues a reference for it. If a supplier declines a booking after payment has been taken, we will notify you and arrange a refund of the amount charged for that booking.

You are responsible for ensuring that names given at booking match the travel documents you will present, and for holding any passports, visas and health documentation your journey requires.

3. Price locks

A price lock allows you to hold the quoted price of a specific flight or accommodation for a fixed window of 30, 60 or 90 days, by paying a deposit. The deposit is calculated as a percentage of the held price, subject to a minimum, and is shown to you before you commit.

During the lock window you may complete the booking at the held price by paying the remaining balance. The deposit is applied in full toward the price — it is not an additional charge.

A price lock applies to one component of a trip. Locking a flight does not hold the price of accommodation, and vice versa.

A price lock is a commercial commitment by us to honour the held price. It does not reserve inventory with the supplier. If a supplier withdraws the specific product entirely, we will contact you and either offer the closest equivalent at the held price or convert your deposit to travel credit.

4. Travel credit

This clause is important — please read it.

If you do not complete a booking within the lock window, or you cancel a price lock, your deposit is converted to N8Go travel credit. It is not refunded to your payment card.

Travel credit is an account balance held with us. The full deposit amount converts — we do not deduct a fee on conversion.

Travel credit:

  • may be redeemed against any booking made through N8Go Travel;
  • is applied automatically at checkout, using the balance expiring soonest first;
  • is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded to a payment card;
  • cannot be transferred or sold to another person or account;
  • has no value outside the N8Go Travel platform.

Your current balance and the expiry date of each amount are shown in your account at all times. We will contact you before credit expires.

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights in respect of bookings actually made, or any right to a refund arising from our failure to provide a service you have paid for.

5. Instalment plans

Where offered, an instalment plan allows the cost of a confirmed booking to be paid in scheduled monthly amounts. The booking is committed with the supplier once the final instalment has cleared. If an instalment fails and is not resolved, we may cancel the arrangement; any amounts already paid will be treated in accordance with the supplier’s cancellation terms.

An instalment plan is separate from a price lock and the two operate independently.

6. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are governed by the terms of the supplier of the booking concerned, and are handled per booking. Cancelling accommodation does not cancel a flight, and cancelling a flight does not cancel accommodation.

Where a supplier issues a refund, we pass it on to the original payment method once received. Supplier processing times vary and are outside our control.

7. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on N8Go systems. We store only a token allowing you to reuse a saved card.

8. Complaints

Complaints about a travel service should be raised with the supplier of that service in the first instance, as they are the party you contracted with. We will help you do so and will act on your behalf where we can. Complaints about our own service can be sent to support@n8go.travel.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

This document is a working draft prepared for the N8Go Travel platform build. It sets out how the service is intended to operate and must be reviewed and finalised by a qualified solicitor before the service accepts real customers.
